MR. JOHN OPOKU WARE (EXECUTIVE BOARD CHAIRMAN)

Mr. John Opoku Ware is the Executive Board Chairman of Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Ghana which is made up of 17 countries here in Africa under Internal Contracts.

John specialises in all aspects of private equity, including fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, management arrangements and acquisition finance. He also has public market merger and acquisition experience and has advised on a number of listings. John has advised prominent Ghanaian and international private equity houses on some of the largest private equity transactions undertaken in the Ghanaian market.

He has represented private equity borrowers and high yield lenders and has formed a number of private equity funds with a focus on South, West and Sub-Saharan Africa. In recent times he has been involved, on behalf of the industry body, in various lobbying activities, especially in regard to pension fund participation in private equity funds, taxation and exchange control.

His expertise has been recognised by various international research organisations including Chambers Global (Corporate/ M&A), IFLR1000 (Banking; Capital Markets), Legal 500 (Investment Funds/ Private Equity), and Who's Who Legal (M&A; Capital Markets). Over the past 20 years, he has arbitrated and mediated many large commercial and employment disputes and he regularly facilitates negotiation, strategic planning and transformation processes.

MR. PAUL B. MENSAH (DEPUTY BOARD CHAIRMAN)

Mr. Paul B. Mensah had been educated at the University of Manchester's Institute of Science and Technology, where he obtained his PhD. He has worked in the UK as a research scientist at WR GRACE before returning to Ghana in 1993 to join the group.

A veteran Trade Marketing Professional with 17years experience working with Unilever Ghana in various disciplines. Competent Customer Development proficiency and can help fashion creative solutions to a wide range of customer requirements. Graduate of KNUST with a BSc degree in Civil Engineering.

MR. EDWARD EDEM KODJO HUMADO (PROCUREMENT CO-ORDINATOR)

Mr. Humado comes with 10+ years of Human Resource, Finance and Administrative services experience, having work with several distinguished organizations prior to this position.

He holds an MBA in International Business Management and Human Resource from the University of Applied Management, Ghana Campus, a Bachelor of Commerce and Education, B.Com, DipEd from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, a Diploma in Human Resources from the University of Ghana, School of Business, a Professional Advanced Certificate in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), Geneva.

Mr. Humado is in charge of all corporate matters pertaining to Administration, Human Resource and Employee Welfare.>

MRS. AMINA ADDAE-MENSAH (EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SECRETARY)

Mrs. Amina has both qualified and experience in human resource management for over eight (8) years. He has handled core HR activities and has deep interest in people-development. He possess a great human relations, always want to maintain a balance between personal and professional life. He holds a Masters Degree from Lorenz University, Pennsylvania.

A competent, self-motivation, brilliant and ambitious civil engineer who has experience and practical knowledge in Construction Supervision, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Waste Management and Project Management. Some major project supervised includes T3 thermal power plant and T2X thermal power plant in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.

She obtained her first degree - BA (Hons.) Secretary Studies from the University of Wales-UK and also hold a BSc. Degree in Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
